Salary: £40-60k depending on experience.

Direct Line Managers: Media Director
Day to Day Interaction: Media planning/buyer team and other agency departments, suppliers, and clients as necessary.
General Role: A trusted member of the media team/agency, actively delivering the agency's services to the highest standard. Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Digital Media Buying unit, cooperating with team members to positively impact the unit and the wider organization. Controls and prioritizes workflow between team members and drives the development of the media team.
Represents the agency professionally and assists in establishing its credibility in line with the business mission. Oversees and leads the core digital media planning and buying role within the agency, identifying suitable media platforms for clients' products and services. Works with clients to agree and set KPIs for the agency to deliver against. Utilizes all available data sources to guide clients in optimizing their advertising campaigns across the media mix.
Ensures media planners/buyers combine creative thinking with factual analysis to develop strategies that effectively reach target audiences. Applies knowledge of media and communication platforms to identify the most appropriate mediums for achieving clients' KPIs. Acts as a quality control point for deliverables from the digital media buying team and delivers client service that exceeds expectations.
Client Service - Accountabilities:
* Represent the team and act as befitting a senior member.
* Lead client relationships in a digital media context across the agency.
* Know the top-line status of and be responsible for all digital media client projects in the agency.
* Discuss with confidence both offline and online media buying and understand their integration within client strategies.
* Be the digital champion in the agency and discuss all aspects of digital during client meetings, linking these to clients' required outcomes.
Internal Service - Accountabilities:
* Accountable for preparing and reporting digital media revenue and understanding the context of set targets in the wider agency.
* Drive the digital team to achieve and exceed revenue targets set by the agency board.
* Facilitate the development of best practice brand digital strategies, both paid and organic, including Web, Mobile, Social Media, CRM, and Marketing Automation for the media team.
* Ensure all digital strategies are implemented correctly, either directly or through other team members.
* Lead internal stakeholders in best practices and assessment of digital mediums.
Competencies:
* Understanding of all digital channels including but not limited to Google Ads, SEO, Paid Social, Native, Programmatic, and Amazon Marketing Services.
* Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other common digital tools.
* Strong office-based skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Highly self-motivated and able to deliver on agreed goals.
* A team player and a motivator to those around them.
* Good management skills and able to coach and develop junior team members.
* Very strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
* A good network of industry contacts that can be drawn upon if required.
* A ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to adapt to fit the needs of the team.
* Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge across digital media channels.
