Stream Marine Training are delighted to be expanding our administration team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the UK’s largest short course training provider in Maritime.
The purpose of our Receptionist/Administration Officer at Stream Marine Training is to meet and greet our candidates when they arrive to attend training courses and meet and greet visitors to the company. When you are not being the face of Stream Marine, we will be asking you to support us with general administration duties which would include preparing course documentation on a daily basis as well as handling email and phone enquiries.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities
1. Greeting clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
2. Assisting clients in finding their way around the building.
3. Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks.
4. Preparing meeting and training rooms.
5. Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
6. Replying to client enquiries via email.
7. Preparing course documentation and issuing certificates.
8. Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
9. Performing ad-hoc administrative duties.
10. Assisting customers with booking and ensuring it is added to the company booking system.
Additional Responsibilities
1. Providing excellent customer service.
2. Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
3. Arranging for catering for meetings and daily office use.
4. Assisting the sales team with client calls.
5. Any other duties required by management.
Skills
We are keen to hear from candidates who are enthusiastic about working within a fast-paced environment and can maintain their poise when under pressure. Previous experience of reception or front of house will assist the successful candidate to perform to the high standards expected. We will provide training for both our booking and fulfilment system and our ticketing system. The ability to work through this training is essential.
