The PE Department at Eastbrook School is committed to inspiring a lifelong love of physical activity and promoting health and well-being. We are seeking a Strategic Lead for PE to drive the vision and development of the department. This role involves leading curriculum, fostering excellence in teaching, and creating opportunities for students to excel in both sports and fitness. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader, passionate about physical education, and dedicated to shaping the department to positively impact the lives of our students.
Eastbrook school is an all through school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham. The secondary school has served the local community since the 1930s but has transferred into a new, state of the art building in 2017. In December 2021. Eastbrook School was graded as ‘good’ by OFSTED noting that ‘leaders and staff have embedded a culture of high expectations’ and that ‘pupils feel safe and supported’.
