National Grid Interconnectors is at the forefront of delivering low carbon electricity between Great Britain and Europe. With a portfolio of 7.8GW of interconnection capacity, we provide infrastructure to move power to where it is most needed, providing security of supply and access to affordable power for the countries that we connect.
We are currently recruiting for a Project Controls Analyst which will enable the management and delivery of our innovative Offshore Hybrid Asset projects.
As a Project Controls Analyst you will be pivotal in ensuring the implementation of effective project controls and processes, adhering to project governance, and supporting the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to scope.

This role is based from Warwick and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home.
Key Accountabilities
1. Project Control Delivery - Ensure that project schedules, interfaces, risks, changes and documentation management are understood and managed.
2. Project Planning - Understand the production of project plans, supporting the planner to ensure that all activities are identified and appropriately organised to deliver the project outcomes.
3. Process Implementation - Develop and implement procedures and processes to enable the application of the project control framework across the portfolio.
4. Project Delivery Governance - Support with the adherence to governance structures and processes to track and monitor project decision points and assurance reviews.
5. Reporting - Support with the collation of data for the timely and accurate reporting of progress and performance of projects to leadership.
6. Process Improvement - Continually identify and implement improvements across the Project Controls disciplines.
7. Stakeholder Engagement - Engage with various stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
About you
1. Proven experience of working in a Project Controls environment with excellent Project/Programme Management skills.
2. Strong relationship skills combined with a good track record of delivering change.
3. Good knowledge of project management disciplines across phases of the project lifecycle.
4. Experience supporting a team of people.
5. Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
6. Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Experience in building relationships with stakeholders.
9. Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
What you'll get
A competitive salary between £46,000 - £55,000 - dependent on capability.
