Reymas Group are working with a leading Design company who are looking for a Design Engineer to be part of the exciting growth of their company. This fantastic role would see you contribute to the design, coordination and implementation of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems for new construction projects and renovations. You will work closely with experienced architects, project managers and other engineering disciplines to ensure that projects meet client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory codes.

Salary:- £25,000-£38,000 (Negotiable based on experience) + 33 Days Hols & further benefits.
Location:- Hybrid – King's Cross office & home based (flexible weekly arrangements).

Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the design and development of building services systems, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), mechanical, heating & plumbing systems.
Collaborate with clients, manufacturers, customers & engineers to produce detailed design calculations, equipment sizing, system layouts and specifications.
Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data and assess existing systems for retrofit projects.
Participate in design coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration of building services systems with architectural and structural components.
Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, design drawings and construction documentation.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies relevant to building services engineering.
Collaborate with the clients project teams to review and evaluate contractor submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), and change orders during the construction phase.
Support the commissioning and testing of building services systems to ensure compliance with design intent and performance objectives.
Experience & Skills Required
Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or building simulation tools.
Familiarity of building services systems, including HVAC, electrical and/or heating systems would be beneficial however not essential, but the ability to understand and learn will be required if not.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply engineering principles to practical design challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and contractors.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project deadlines.
