Job Title: Manufacturing Process EngineerLocation: Liverpool, UKContract Type: PermanentScantec is supporting a growing Manufacturing Technology team in recruiting a Manufacturing Process Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation, where you’ll play a key role in designing, launching, and optimising both new and existing processes to meet customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement standardised production methods that align with business objectives.Create equipment specifications to meet performance, quality, and financial targets.Lead robust industrialisation processes to ensure quality and efficiency in manufacturing operations.Manage and maintain control documentation, including Work Instructions (WI), Process Flow, and PFMEA.Drive process standardisation and improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Conduct product and process data analysis to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.Ensure Lean Manufacturing principles are applied consistently across the value stream.What We’re Looking For:A relevant Engineering degree or equivalent industrial experience.Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.Proficiency in problem-solving and experience with MS Office applications.A solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, with experience in delivering training.Exceptional communication, organisational, and teamworking skills.Desirable Skills:Experience with CNC machining.Familiarity with IATF standards.Six Sigma certification or equivalent.This role offers a chance to make a real impact by driving efficiency and innovation within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
