Role Overview
You will be responsible for Systems Engineering – Production Test Platform Strategy and Architecture. Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, the Principal System Architect will be part of the Systems Engineering department and will be responsible for driving forward the “Production Test” platform strategy and vision from conception to implementation and continued evolution.
What do we mean by “Production Test”? Effectively it’s the all-encompassing strategy that will allow SRT to provide a suitable environment, methodology, and implementation plan to confidently benchmark and approve our MDA product offerings before deployment. Our MDA product covers a broad range of technologies from infrastructure through to edge sensors and all the integration in between including software and hardware. Customer deployments are vast and we need to have the ability to understand and test a representative subset of the capability before deployment.
The role will require someone who can visualize what environments are needed (on-premise, cloud, etc.) to enable us to benchmark our product architecture and oversee the build of the associated test platforms.
Responsibilities
* Designing and overseeing the development of the foundational technology infrastructure/applications/services that serves as the backbone for the Production Test platform.
* Create high-level blueprints for platforms, defining their structure, scalability, and integration capabilities.
