About the Role As a Production Operative at our Kingsbury site, you will be fully trained to work with our specialised tools and machinery to turn raw materials into bricks ready for use in the construction industry. You will become an expert on the machinery and support your colleagues to produce high quality results. You will be working hands-on, operating various factory machinery, equipment, and forklifts, whilst also ensuring high levels of health and safety at all times. Youll be supported by the Team Leader to ensure production flow is efficient and safe. We will provide you with full training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) In our Specials division we produce speciality bricks, and your role will be varied. Duties include: Hand finishing product to a high quality Operating various pieces of factory machinery and equipment such as an extruder, robot setter and press Hand sorting fired product to correct standards Taking part in projects Achieving production, minimum waste and quality targets Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm, and Friday, 5:30am to 1:30pm About You You will have previous experience working in a production role operating machinery in an automated manufacturing environment. Youll enjoy working in a busy environment where you can roll your sleeves up and get hands-on Flexible and able to adapt to the different daily priorities in the factory which help us run efficiently Safety is our biggest priority, so youll be committed to safe working and have good general safety awareness.
