Location: Chigwell Job Type: Temporary but full time (potential for permanent) Salary: £100 - £110 per day (based on experience) We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive SEMH Primary and Secondary school located in Redbridge, East London. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs, particularly those with Autism and ADHD. Day-to-day Of The Role Work one-to-one with students with SEN needs, providing tailored support to enhance their learning experience. Collaborate with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet students' needs. Assist with the development of social skills and positive behaviour in a classroom setting. Monitor and report on the progress of students, contributing to assessments and reviews. Provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience working one-to-one with students with SEN needs, particularly Autism and ADHD. Strong academic background. Minimum of 1 year working in a UK school setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.
