Alecto Recruitment are working with a market leader in the Renewable Energy sector who are looking to bring a Project Engineer into their team.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage project scope, securing approvals and preventing scope creep.
* Conduct risk assessments covering technical, financial, environmental, and safety aspects.
* Lead design development, including specifications, drawings, and layouts.
* Identify hazards and support design reviews and HAZOP processes.
* Source and select suppliers and contractors.
* Prepare tender review documents and review contractor risk assessments and method statements.
* Develop and manage project schedules and resources.
* Oversee suppliers, contractors, and on-site installation and commissioning, ensuring safety compliance.
* Deliver project close-out documentation and regular progress reports on schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Control & Instrumentation).
* Extensive experience in process engineering and control.
* Proven track record in project delivery from design to closeout.
* Experience in safe project delivery and budget management.
* Proficient in MS Project or SmartSheet for scheduling.
* Skilled in team and contractor management.
* Experience using AutoCAD for manufacturing drawings.
* Proficient in MS Office and quick to learn new technologies.
* Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
* Familiar with ATEX/DSEAR regulations and experience in hazardous environments.
* Experience in manufacturing or process environments.
