REED HR is delighted to support our client a highly successful organisation who wishes to recruit a Learning and Development Business Partner to join their team This is an exciting new role focused around improving their learning academy, the learning experience for employees, building relationships with the business, completing needs analysis, supporting key L&D projects around onboarding employees, building school engagement programmes, apprenticeship programmes & career pathways. The role You will deliver Best Practice as a professional representative of the corporate services department Lead members of the administrative team to deliver a professional, efficient service Seek out opportunities to improve L&D service & efficiency, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Provide guidance to managers, employees & admin to ensure compliance with legislative & best practice Ensure knowledge & learning is shared within the team to aid professional development & service Provide leadership in your area of expertise & support staff Develop & maintain effective staff & industrial relations Supervise & mentor employees undertaking internal audit activities Contribute to design, delivery & evaluation of the Corporate L&D programme Evaluate the return of investment of learning & development Quality assure content & delivery of externally sourced mandatory training providers Maintain & develop the E Learning platform & maximise potential via the design of a suite of learning solutions Assist with the delivery of the Training Academy for all staff & support maximising personal & business performance & career progression Support the manager with "Academy training & development Programmes" to include Internships, Apprenticeships, Student Placements, Graduate Programmes. Corporate Induction (internal/ external, Mandatory training 'WHAT' - Technical/ accreditation/ funded / 'HOW' - MDP/ soft skills/ feedback Partners - supply chain/ contractor and sub-contractor Support the absence policy across the team, providing employees with advice in relation to the sickness absence policy Assist with Health and Wellbeing initiatives & delivery of action plans Provide accurate & timely reports, commentary & trend analysis for management on KPIs NB: The post holder must be prepared to work as required in other premises The post is subject to flexible working and will require some working outside of normal hours Criteria Bachelor's Degree or above, in HR or a Business related discipline & at least two years' experience delivering and supporting a L&D function Or 4 years' experience delivering and supporting a Learning & Development function L&D experience to include: Assessment of learning and development needs of employees Support the implementation & delivery of learning and development programmes Support the evaluation of learning and development programmes Experience of supporting & delivering service improvements within an HR or L&D role Experience of working in an L&D Function within a wider HR Team Experience in use of IT systems i.e., Word, databases, Excel in order to produce targeted management information reports A current full driving licence & access to a suitable form of transport Excellent communication able to produce professional content & presentations Deliver high standards of customer service Excellent organisational skills able to meet conflicting targets & deadlines Skills: Learning and development Officer Business Partner Learning and development manager
