We are Coveris, a leading European print & packaging company and we are looking for a new cut crease operator to join the team at our Wisbech site. Over £24 million has been invested over the last 3 years into next generation Paper manufacturing capabilities. Job Role: (Trainee) Cut Crease Operator – Full time & Permanent Location: Wisbech Shift Pattern: The attractive continental shift pattern, which involves working a mix of 12-hour day and night shifts. This leads to working an average of 13 shifts per month, with 8 days off at the end of your rotation Pay Rates: £12.11 - £15.85ph (earning potential, dependent on experience) £89.25 per week shift supplement Preferred experience: Experience using Bobst 106 LER, Bobst 106 NOVACUT or Iberica 106 would be beneficial, however full training will be provided for someone whom is eager to get into the industry. Free, expert pension advice, life cover at four times basic annual salary, employee benefits hub, cycle to work scheme, Christmas savings scheme, amongst other employee benefits Key Responsibilities: (These are only a few of the of principle tasks) Ensure effective handover communication is completed on arrival with previous Operator on shift Achieve machine targets speed to be optimised where possible – raising any concerns where these cannot be achieved immediately Be proactive to ensure all inputs are available for the next job Have the experience and knowledge of the cell to provide support and training to any new starters or personnel – as and when required Carry out planned maintenance operator tasks on a bi weekly basis supporting the Engineers when necessary As a cut crease operator, you would have great attention to detail, with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
