As the Buyers Administration Assistant, you’ll support the Buying Team with administrative support in all processes throughout the buying cycle, to achieve the agreed sales and profit targets. You’ll adhere strictly to the Product Calendar and Critical Path whilst working closely with supply chain to ensure all products are delivered on time. Managing the sample library by maintaining a tidy sample room and ensuring correct samples are available for business requirements. Ensuring PLM/AX is complete at all critical stages enabling other functions to complete tasks on time. This is a full-time, temporary position to cover a period of Family Leave for up to 12 months and is based at our head office in Falmouth. In our blended approach to hybrid working, we expect our people to work a minimum of 4 days in the office with the remaining 1 day from home (or your chosen location – however, you must be based in the UK)'. You'll Help Us By Critical Path Management – be responsible for managing the departmental critical path for each product stages (Proto, SMS, Bulk) to a high level of accuracy and reporting to Assistant Buyer/Buyer. Sample Management – Managing all samples for your product area and ensuring the sample room is kept tidy and up to date with the most accurate samples. Organising samples for department requirements. Business Systems Awareness, PLM, and AX – Acting as a link between the buying department and the rest of the business by monitoring and updating accurately all buying administrative systems and making amendments where necessary. Commercial Aptitude – Maintaining commercial awareness and collating up-to date information on competition, recording price comparisons, and analysing findings and opportunities to report back to the buying team. Colour Library - Logging Lab dips and strike offs and ensuring PLM is up to date with latest comments and filing lab dips in colour library. Business Product Meetings – help in preparation for Business meetings. The Skills You'll Be Sharing With The Team Professional and logical approach to problem solving.
