Location: Craigavon Hours: 37.5 Salary: Competitive Business Unit : Clinical Services Open To : Internal and External Applicants Ref No.: HRJOB10086 The Role Working as part of the Finance team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for maintaining the project accounting reporting capability for the Almac Clinical Services business unit. This will involve close working collaboration with colleagues from both the Business Projects, and Accounting & Finance teams to maintain robust mechanisms to routinely deliver timely monthly financial reporting and forecasting on capital projects of significant value. The post holder will be required to maintain the Company’s fixed asset and Capex register. Furthermore, the holder may be required to assist in the preparation of finance analysis reports as required. As a student of finance or accountancy, the successful candidate will be numerate, understand the principles of financial accounting and be capable of working on their own initiative to solve problems. They must also be capable of working to strict reporting deadlines. Essential Criteria Have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK A Level Mathematics qualification at grade A - B Currently studying for a highly numerate degree discipline (Finance/Accountancy/Mathematics/Statistics/Science etc) qualification with successful completion of 2 years by the end of the academic year Knowledge of accounting principles and reporting norms Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages (to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) For further information on essential and desirable criteria, please refer to the job description attached to the online job posting.
