Mechanical Maintenance Fitter – Manufacturing
Based in West Berkshire – 3 month rolling contract
Panama Shifts (12hr) – Day and Nights
Outside IR35 £34ph
The day-to-day responsibilities of the Mechanical Maintenance Fitter will involve the following.
1. You will be responsible for the upkeep of and maintenance of heavy mechanical machinery.
2. Reactive maintenance is a priority and will include fault finding and replacing components on a variety of machines such as, conveyors, cranes, cookers, slicers, Kiln cars, bearings and chains.
3. Preventative maintenance will involve project work and working of a CMMS system to complete planned maintenance.
4. Installation and fitting of mechanical components.
The Mechanical Maintenance Fitter must possess the following skills and experience.
5. Previous mechanical experience within a heavy-duty industrial manufacturing environment is a must.
6. Mechanical maintenance and fitting experience are a must within an industrial engineering background.
7. Mechanical engineering qualification is a must.
8. Apprenticeship is preferred.
