Payroll Administrator

40 paid hours per week
£15 per hour
Hybrid (3 days at home after initial on-site training)
Ongoing temp role (initially 3 months with possibility of extension)
We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator working for the RAC based in the Bescot Area in Walsall. The RAC is one of the UK’s biggest and most well-recognised companies operating in the Motoring industry. Their office in Walsall is ideally located for workers who commute by both public and private transport, thanks to its large, free on-site parking, as well as its proximity to both a bus stop and train station which has regular links to Walsall and Birmingham City Centre.
Role
Within this role, you will be a key member of the team, working in both a payroll and HR capacity. Your day-to-day duties will mainly involve working closely with the payroll team, processing payment information and sanity checking for payroll accuracy. Part of the role will also include admin-based HR duties as below:
-Assisting with the collation of monthly payroll data
-Reviewing payroll errors and/or anomalies
-Escalating and chasing any payroll anomalies to ensure accuracy
-Processing internal worker data changes into the HR system
-Issuing contract change and leaver paperwork
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for an applicant who has Payroll experience. You will have a keen eye for details, the ability to interpret and process data quickly and accurately and have the ability to balance numerous duties covering both HR and Payroll over the course of the working week.
-Payroll processing experience (experience of Zelis is ideal, but not required)
