About the role: There’s a new opportunity within our Technical Solutions Manager - Solutions for the North West. Reporting directly to the National Solutions Manager, you’ll play an integral part maximising market share and sales through relationships with specifiers & Key contractors in offering solutions to the market in line with customer requirements. You will need to enhance the customer experience and provide a competitive advantage within Commercial HVAC market for Baxi. What will you be doin g? As the Technical Solutions Manager – Solutions you will be instrumental in developing a bank of sales specifications opportunities taking into account all Baxi ranges to meet customers’ needs as the market continues to move to decarbonized opti onsTo use your contacts, relationships and specification details to facilitate the targeted business and profitability levels as dictated by the compa ny. On a daily basis you’ll be responsible for:Deliver the Solutions selling strategy, growth and lead generation within your defined a rea.Deliver solutions to specifiers and contractors needs, to ensure as order bank of sales that can be delivered through our distribution partn ers.Work closely with the Technical Solutions team who will provide technical support and solution design help secure specifications with focus on decarbonizat ion.Identify opportunities for utilizing existing brands for further acquisition and company growth into new sectors within the HVAC sec tor.Fully embracing the vision and values of the comp any.Organised, pro-active approach to managing sales activity for the comp any.Deliver the budget and build the project pipel ine.Meet and exceed all KPI’s outlined by your Mana ger.Manage day-to-day activities, reports and communicati ons.Forecast demand and identify trends – by having close relationships with key customers and decision mak ers.Working on multiple projects at different stages, at the same t ime.Providing detailed consultations with Design engineers and Contract ors.Negotiating and managing the needs and expectations of our customers aiming to influence the buying decis ion. To be successful in your application you’ll need to have the follo wing; Ess entialExtensive experience within a technical and engineering discipline or be educated to HND/Degree level.Proven track record of delivering lead generation and sales across multiple channels and multiple market seg ments.Experience of senior level negotiation and dealing within con flict.Ability to use mathematical concepts to create solutions for presentation and implementation to a non-technical aud ience.Highly numerate, ability to turn data into information and a ction.Ability to understand and interpret the market, products and ser vices.Excellent presentation and interpersonal s kills.Broad knowledge of UK construction and routes to m arket.Excellent all-round communicator, possessing strong electronic, written and oral communication abilities, with the ability to communicate at all l evels.Worked across multiple segments and applications in the construction ind ustry. Des irable Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate this across key external and internal stake holders.Experience within a highly technical B2B manufacturing envi ronment.Knowledge/understanding and ownership of government framework agr eements.Experience in successfully implementing a low carbon and high efficiency agenda.
