Job Summary:
I am working with my client which is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal or someone with previous experience, wishing to resume to work within our Legal Services company dealing with Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney. You will be handling all aspects of our private client’s needs, from ensuring we have the most up-to-date Will on file, liaising with our panel firms regarding a clients exacting requirement, to dealing with discovery and probate.
You will come from a legal background, having confidence to deal with a range of private client matters, principally Wills, LPA's and Probate. The ability to operate within a busy, client focused and regulated environment is critical.
You'll possess excellent communication skills, being able to deal with clients and solicitors daily, via a variety of methods. Providing the very highest level of service to our clients is at the forefront of everything we do, so having a friendly disposition, whilst working to exacting standards is a prerequisite.
Requirements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Good IT skills with a familiarity of legal software being advantageous.
* Strong time management abilities to meet deadlines consistently.
* Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role is required.
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
