Description We have a new opportunity available for a Claims Vendor Manager to be based in our Glasgow or London office. If you are interested in working for one of the world largest insurers and contributing to our Claims process excellence, then we would love to hear from you The purpose of this role is to ensure the execution of Chubb’s customer service commitment (CODE) as delivered by third parties. To protect indemnity and ALAE costs and governance through effective third party selection and contractual execution. To support and enable business growth through providing expert advice on the selection and oversight of third parties and supporting the onboarding of new business dependent on their services. Key Responsibilities: Work with colleagues across the Technical Services and Governance function to support the onboarding lead in due diligence, legal, compliance and audit remediation action plans. Participate in the selection, onboarding and management of complex arrangements across all vendor categories to include due diligence, pricing, contract, performance and relationship management. Where Claims Handling Authority is delegated to TPA’s to support the embedding of Chubb ways of working and Best Practises. Work with colleagues across Technical Claims Teams, Claims Customer Relationship Management and Vendor Management to develop a positive relationship with key Vendors used by Chubb across UKISA, optimising performance, measured against agreed supplier performance metrics. Use data sets and KPI’s to assess Vendor performance against contractual standards. Understanding, analysing and controlling the levers of both ALAE, indemnity spend and service delivery. Contribute to line of business initiatives-which support acquisition and retention of business through the effective use of vendors across the end to end claims value chain. Promote the Claims Vendor Management Proposition to deliver competitive advantage for Chubb. Identify innovation, continuous improvement, automation and digital solutions working with the Vendor portfolio to create value added solutions for Chubb and its customers. Qualifications Professional experience in the field of claims Knowledge of the insurance industry and international insurance business Analytical thinking and good numerical understanding Strong communication skills Insurance qualifications an advantage Experience of vendor relationship management is advantageous but not essential.
