Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is conveniently situated right in the heart of Canterbury’s city centre, offering easy access to all. Our expert team delivers established outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, stress, addictions, and eating disorders. We provide high-quality support to adults, young people, older people, couples, and families, offering practical, effective therapeutic services to all of our service users.
We are currently seeking a CAMHS therapist to support our CAMHS (young children and adolescents) structure at Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury. Our focus is to expand our CAMHS services to offer a fully operational CAMHS therapy team. The applicant will be required to work on-site, offering a blended approach of face-to-face and remote 1-to-1 therapy sessions for our service users ranging from 7 to 17 years old.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide therapy sessions using modalities including CBT, integrative therapy, counselling, and bereavement support.
2. Be flexible to accommodate after school hours and Saturday mornings if demand requires.
3. Utilize computer skills and adapt to learning new systems for our patient record and booking systems (full training will be provided).
Qualifications:
1. Full accreditation is required.
2. ADOS trained and Eating Disorder specialty would be an advantage.
