The business has a large software development team that has re-developed their core product and launched this brand-new, “award-winning” web-based product family, which is expected to provide unrivalled facilities in the marketplace. The future offers very exciting opportunities for growth, with an ever-changing national environment creating new demands for their software and services.
Due to the new product launch, we are looking for a proactive and motivated Junior Project Manager to join the projects team in rolling out the new product to their full client base and new customers as they come on.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to Project Planning, including feasibility analysis to ensure consistency with customer’s requirements.
* Evaluate and Monitor Progress.
* Help Manage Projects, coordinating with stakeholders and consultants, conducting internal meetings, reviewing finances, and streamlining the overall workflow to keep the project on schedule.
* Perform Data Analysis, monitoring and analysing data to produce insights and action recommendations.
* Create Documentation, maintaining project documentation such as schedules, resource plans, RAID Logs, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.
Requirements:
* Organisation skills: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects while managing time effectively.
* Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration at all levels.
* Project management: Previous management experience is advantageous.
* Project methodology: Familiarity with Prince2 or other formal methodologies is beneficial; training will be provided.
* Data analysis: Comfort with software programs to process data and interpret results; knowledge of MS Project, Salesforce, and Excel is advantageous.
* Business knowledge: Solid understanding of business and operational fundamentals, with previous experience delivering software projects being an advantage.
* Technical knowledge: Understanding of technical subjects and ability to interact with stakeholders from a technical background.
The successful applicant will be a highly organised person with first-class communication skills, able to champion project objectives and goals while responding positively to challenges from various stakeholders.
