Job Summary:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Head of Digital Credentials to join the Barclays Talent team to lead the development and implementation of an enterprise digital credential framework aimed at supporting the learning and development of critical skills across the organisation. This is a permanent role and can be based in Glasgow or London.
The Head of Digital Credentials will report to the Head of Development and Skills and will be accountable for the enduring product strategy, delivery, and governance; including continuous improvement of the product roadmap to ensure the digital credential framework aligns with the organisation's strategic objectives and target learning outcomes.
Accountabilities
* Development and implementation of training and development programmes and initiatives, including creation and execution of training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
* Collaboration with HR and hiring managers to analyse the current and future development needs of the organisation.
* Design and delivery of classroom and digital-based training content, programmes, and associated User Experience.
* Management of onboarding programmes including training, onboarding materials, introduction meetings, and providing support throughout the onboarding process.
* Analysis of data and metrics to measure the success of talent development programmes and initiatives.
* Development and implementation of coaching and mentoring programmes, train the trainer programmes for facilitators and relevant educational materials.
* Develop and implement talent pipelining processes, identifying, managing, progressing, and promoting talent capability across the bank with succession management and career progression.

* Provide expert advice to senior functional management and committees to influence decisions made outside of own function, offering significant input to function-wide strategic initiatives.
* Manage, coordinate and enable resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub-function.
* Escalate breaches of policies/procedures appropriately.
* Foster and guide compliance, ensuring regulations are observed and that relevant processes are in place to facilitate adherence.
* Focus on the external environment, regulators, or advocacy groups to both monitor and influence on behalf of Barclays, when appropriate.
* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of how the function integrates with the business division/Group to achieve the overall business objectives.
* Maintain broad and comprehensive knowledge of industry theories and practices within own discipline alongside up-to-date relevant sector/functional knowledge, and insight into external market developments/initiatives.
* Use interpretative thinking and advanced analytical skills to solve problems and design solutions in often complex/sensitive situations.
* Exercise management authority to make significant decisions and certain strategic decisions or recommendations within own area.
* Negotiate with and influence stakeholders at a senior level both internally and externally.
* Act as principal contact point for key clients and counterparts in other functions/business divisions.
* Mandated as a spokesperson for the function and business division.
