Page Personnel are working with an exciting organisation based in Newcastle-Under-Lyme, recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team.The business is well established, with exciting growth plans, looking to add an additional head to their finance team in order to support this expansion.
Job Description
As an Accounts Assistant, you will report into the Finance Manager, responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the accounts function.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: purchase ledger processing; monthly supplier statement reconciliations; raising of sales invoices; responding to and resolving invoice queries; arranging direct debit collections; cash allocations; posting bank transactions; BACS runs; raising manual payments; maintain supplier accounts; assisting with month end reporting; payment processing; petty cash management.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate:- Will be AAT Studier/Qualified - or have Equivalent Experience - Essential- Have recent knowledge of working in an Accounts role - Essential- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
