This is a temporary contract role for an Admin Officer with an immediate start date (Compliance dependent) for a 7-month duration with a possible extension offering a 5-day in-office work setting in Bromley, London.
Job Description:
This is a brilliant opportunity for candidates to work as an Admin Officer on behalf of our client. Responsibilities include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel and office equipment.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings, and meetings.
2. Producing court/tribunal documents.
3. General photocopying and filing.
4. Creating and updating records on in-house computer systems and data input.
5. Post opening and dispatch.
6. Booking, preparing, and organizing meeting rooms, supporting training courses and other group activities.
7. Preparing meeting agenda, joining instructions, handouts, etc.
8. Drafting standard letters and correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, submissions, etc., according to guidelines and instructions.
9. Maintaining accurate and concise notes on the appropriate operating systems following enquiries or case-related actions.
Operations:
1. Clerking civil and family courts, tribunals, and hearings, ensuring papers and materials are available and up to date.
2. Assisting court users, supporting listing and rota management, checking files.
3. Contacting relevant parties, scheduling, serving court documents.
4. Handling counter (face to face) enquiries, and a broad spectrum of written and telephone enquiries.
5. Working as a team to ensure TIB (Team Information Board) meetings are relevant, timely, and productive.
6. Working as a team to problem solve, assess the impact of new SOPS, and contribute to small projects.
Processing Casework:
1. Including standard documentation and information, court orders, claims.
2. Working to workload targets in terms of throughput and accuracy.
