A leading independent international Real Estate Consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their highly skilled Building Engineering Services team.

Their integrated approach ensures seamless support throughout the entire asset lifecycle, combining project and building consultancy with specialist services to meet the diverse needs of their clients.
From 11 offices across the UK, their Building Services Engineering team specialises in feasibility studies, concept and construction design, and operational asset management. Taking a holistic approach to energy efficiency, ensuring sustainability throughout the entire lifecycle of a building or asset portfolio. From initial design and development to long-term management and complex surveying, they deliver a unified strategy that maximises asset performance while aligning with sustainability objectives.

The Role
You will be responsible for a diverse range of consultancy services within the Building Engineer Services team. Your role will involve mechanical services design, project management, and contract administration, as well as report writing and technical due diligence. You will also provide dilapidations assessments, landlord and tenant advisory services, and pre-acquisition surveys.
This role will give you the opportunity to be involved in direct client liaison and management as you manage mechanical services design, project administration, and technical due diligence, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Skills & Experience
* Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with membership in a professional institution such as CIBSE, IET, or IMechE.
* Proficiency in Hevacomp (or similar design software).
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD (2012 or later preferred), Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, and NBS Specification Writer.
* Ability to assess and describe building services components in commercial properties.
* Strong attention to detail, communication, and report-writing skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
