Job summary We are looking for an experienced MSK outpatient physiotherapist with a holistic approach to patient care that adopts the core values of MSE Hospitals. You will be specialised in advanced musculoskeletal skills assessing and treating patients with complex pathology. They will have experience in leading a team, service development and project management. You will also have experience of multidisciplinary working and be a role model for the department, working with the Clinical and Operational Managers on workforce and service planning. Main duties of the job This post creates a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to work within a busy outpatient physiotherapy department, assessing and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Patients will be referred to the service from their General Practitioners or a variety of members of the multidisciplinary team. They may have been assessed and triaged through our clinical assessment and triage service (CATS) or be direct referrals from the orthopaedic wards. The successful candidate will have a responsibility to the spinal clinics linking with the outpatient clinical managers, making appropriate referrals for investigations and linking directly with the spinal consultants.
