Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while maintaining high standards in the kitchen.
Duties
1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
2. Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to food safety regulations.
3. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets the restaurant's standards.
4. Participate in the baking of goods as required, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or similar setting is essential.
2. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the kitchen environment.
3. Experience in food preparation techniques, including baking.
4. Familiarity with various cooking styles and cuisines is an advantage.
5. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 per week
