We are currently seeking a talented individual to join their team on a temporary basis with the potential for a permanent role. As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining analytical equipment and ensuring all manufacturing processes and protocols are followed accurately. You will also be responsible for conducting in-process testing and supporting other areas of the business as needed. Your attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team will contribute to the delivery of high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: Competently and confidently utilise required equipment, ensuring calibration and good working order. Adhere to company standards for a safe and efficient working environment. Utilise the ERP system for tracking work progress and managing inventory. Collaborate with the team to complete manufacturing processes and in-process testing. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records, ensuring compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements. Continuously develop and document competency in all assigned tasks.Requirements: GCSE Grade C/5 or above in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent). Degree in a relevant Scientific subject (desirable). A Levels in appropriate subject (desirable). Professional laboratory experience (desirable). Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Good time management, organisation, and planning skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Personable with a positive attitude and good self-motivation.Our client offers an hourly rate of £12.02 and a contract length of 12 months. As a Laboratory Technician, you will enjoy a full-time working pattern, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4.30pm, with paid breaks and an unpaid lunch break.
