This is a fast-growing, acquisitional organisation with their core finance function based in Barnsley.
We are recruiting a Transactional Finance Team Leader, a newly created role to support company growth, to join their existing finance function.
You will oversee a small team dedicated to sales ledger and credit control, purchase ledger and payments, plus payroll responsibilities. The role involves managing and motivating the team to complete all the day-to-day tasks, ensuring adequate training and supporting development, setting and achieving targets and KPIs. You will continuously review processes, procedures, and systems usage to drive improvement. Additionally, you will report on both financial and team performance.
We are looking for a candidate with experience across AP, AR, and Payroll as well as experience in a supervisory capacity. Experience of Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll would be advantageous.
Starting salary is £35k, it is a full-time permanent role with 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays, with a flexible and hybrid working approach.
