We are recruiting for Manufacturing Technicians to support the LYCRA production at The LYCRA Company Maydown Site. Responsibilities Theexecutionofbothroutine andcomplextaskswithinOperationsincluding: Operating and managing a wide range of equipment and technology as part of a productionfocusedteam. Maintaining the operation within given specifications, using computer-based control systemsandrespondingtoprocessvariance. Validatingqualityrequirements. Maintaining a high standard of equipment and work area cleanliness. Essential Criteria 3 GCSEs at minimum grade C ( or equivalent) which must include English. Demonstratedexperienceofapplyingcriticalthinking/analyticalskillstodefineandresolveproblems. Demonstrated ability to work in a safe and compliant manner by following all policies andpractices. Strongteam-workingskills,withabilitytoapplyinitiativeandflexibilitytomeetbusinessneeds. Excellentplanning,organisationandcommunicationskills(verbalandwritten). Successful applicants, who must be 18 years of age or over by 2nd May 2025, will normally be required to work full rotating 12-hour shift patterns (nights and days), averaging 42 hours per week. Right to Work in the UK. Desirable Criteria 5 GCSEs at minimum grade C (or equivalent). 12 months relevant production experience. Have completed a Modern Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC in an engineering/science relateddiscipline,orequivalent. A GCSE in a Science-based subject at minimum grade C (or equivalent).
