Fixed Wireless Access Engineer will be responsible for undertaking installs & servicing to customers to Airband’s Fixed Wireless Access network (FWA) as well as complete other wireless technologies installations such as 4G. Delivering Customer installation of wireless radio, as per our quality standards. This job is in UK.
Responsibilities:
* Install wireless services from the Airband’s main network to the customer's premises, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to safety standards.
* Set up and configuration of routers, modems, and other networking hardware & software to provide seamless full wireless connectivity.
* Perform thorough testing services to confirm functionality and signal strength.
* Demonstrate working services in a professional manner.
* Always maintain a high level of health and safety awareness.
* Maintain own stock levels & vehicle cleanliness.
* Complete wireless installs surveys using provided IT equipment such as laptop, phone, and tablets.
* Use of 3rd party network software applications to assist in providing detailed survey and install plans.
* Use of a wide range of hand and power tools to aid in the installation of customer wireless services.
* Submission of defected infrastructure using provided software/apps.
* OOH on-call work may be required on a rota basis.
* Liaising with both colleagues and customers; keeping in regular contact with office staff.
* Installation radio Signal <65dbm if higher request authorization from LM or tech support with throughput above 40/10, 150/20, 300/50 in line with packages.
