What you’ll do:
* Lead and manage bids and tender submissions for the Transport business, reporting to the Business Development Director.
* Manage a Bid Team based in Warwick and London, planning resources to pursue opportunities effectively.
* Ensure effective utilization of resources across the business to maximize bid success.
* Oversee end-to-end management and production of high-quality, successful bids following Telent’s procedures.
* Improve bid quality through best practice approaches and monitor bid costs to enhance return on investment.
* Develop relationships with existing and potential customers through meetings and presentations.
* Manage Bid Team performance, KPIs, and SLAs.
* Lead bid strategy development, bid material production, and post-submission support.
* Plan workload, forecast bids, track costs, and report on win/loss outcomes.
* Conduct bid reviews and maintain the Bid library.
