The Role: We are now recruiting for an Accounting Senior to join our Leeds office. This position involves working with clients from various sectors, including hospitality, legal, agriculture, charities, and retail. You will collaborate with experienced professionals and specialists, gaining a detailed understanding of each sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Completing draft financial statements for a range of clients, including sole practitioners, partnerships, LLPs, EOTs, and companies.
* Preparing meeting packs and annual benchmarking reports for Business Services assignments.
* Drafting business tax computations for review.
* Understanding and comparing KPIs for Business Services assignments.
* Assisting with preparing Pricing Options documents and using the Pricing Matrix.
* Researching the marketplace for potential new leads.
The Candidate: To fulfill the responsibilities of this position, candidates should have:
* A Full UK Driving Licence.
* AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience).
* Experience working in an accounting capacity at an accountancy practice.
* Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist colleagues.
* Ability to prioritize workloads under strict deadlines and work well under pressure.
* Initiative and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Enthusiasm to become part of a dynamic team.
