Role Summary
We are looking to recruit a number of hard working, enthusiastic individuals to join our Domestic Services team at the RD&E Wonford site.
About the Role
In accordance with the National Specifications of Cleanliness in the NHS 2021 and other healthcare cleanliness associated documentation, the post holder’s key objective will be to maintain the high standards of cleanliness of the environment in various ward areas, public areas and/or outbuildings on site.
Cleaning experience is desirable although full training will be given. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, general cleaning tasks such as the disposal of refuse, high / low dusting, cleaning sanitary areas, wet mopping, etc. Staff uniform and training will be provided.
Development opportunities are available for those candidates wishing to pursue a career in the NHS.
Hours: to be discussed and confirmed at interview.
Working Patterns:
1. 30 hrs per week (06:00-12:00), two out of three weekends to include Public Holidays
2. 30 hrs per week (07:15-13:15), two out of three weekends to include Public Holidays.
3. 30 hrs per week (12:30-18:30), two out of three weekends to include Public Holidays.
4. 37.5 hrs per week (08:00-16:00), two out of three weekends to include Public Holidays. (Specialist)
5. 37.5 hrs per week (10:00-18:00), two out of three weekends to include Public Holidays. (Specialist)
6. 37.5 hrs per week (22:00-06:00), two out of three weekends to include Public Holidays. (Specialist)
7. 37.5 hrs per week (07:15-15:15/11:00-19:00 – alternate weeks), two out of three weekends to include Public Holidays. (Floor Team)
