Job Title: Temporary Customer Care Advisor
Location: Ampthill, Bedford
Salary: Up to £13.00 per hour
Type: Full Time - 8 to 12 weeks Temporary Support Minimum - Possibility of Permanent
Hybrid Working: Fully office based
Working Hours: 9am to 17:00pm
We are currently representing a leading global brand seeking a Customer Care Adviser to join their dynamic UK team. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a well-known consumer brand, delivering excellent customer service and support. The role is based in Bedford, who are looking for someone to start in the beginning of January.
You will report directly to the customer care manager, within a team of 5 others within a vibrant, refurbished office.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Respond to customer queries via email, phone, and other media channels, delivering a professional and friendly service.
2. Meet required KPIs and team SLAs.
3. Make outbound calls to both current and historic customers for information purposes.
4. Troubleshoot customer issues and provide advice on products, upselling when applicable.
5. Contribute to process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
6. Assist with administrative tasks as required.
7. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Proven experience in a fast-paced customer care environment with strong attention to detail.
2. A proactive, 'can-do' attitude and a team player mentality.
3. A confident and professional telephone manner with a bubbly personality.
4. Self-motivated, able to manage your own workload and time effectively.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
6. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet. Training will be provided for in-house systems.
7. CRM system experience is preferred but not essential.
