Introduction
The iRobot EU business has grown rapidly, and this geography continues to hold significant potential. With one robot, out of two purchased online, and the consumer journey starting there, an outstanding DtC Content Specialist - Ecommerce is required to support the next chapter of growth. iRobot has invested significantly into people, systems, and processes of the DTC business function over the past two years and is growing fast towards > 20% of EU revenues.
The role will report to the EMEA DtC Digital Marketing Director and be a highly visible position with significant scope for autonomy and career progression.
iRobot is seeking a DtC Content Specialist – Ecommerce to join our EMEA Digital Marketing Team in London. This resource will be a member of the EMEA Digital Marketing team who enable best in class consumer experience on iRobot’s owned digital properties, operating as a center of excellence for our market clusters. This role manages overall content management and authoring for iRobot.xx delivering relevant and meaningful content to drive website engagement and performance.
The DtC Content Specialist - Ecommerce will work alongside iRobot’s web design, development, and marketing groups to ensure that consistent, up-to-date content is available to users of iRobot’s 9 public-facing websites in EMEA. They will be expected to interface and liaise directly with various people across the company to ensure all website content needs are met.
This position requires a curious and dynamic individual with the ability to flourish in a fast paced, cross functional environment. With agile sprint based solutioning, the role will foster alignment within and across teams, and the individual will need to build strong relationships with the wider EMEA departments & global teams.
The candidate will be expected to think outside of the box, be self-driven, proactive, and take ownership of the projects they will be entrusted with, demonstrate the ability to stay organized and participate in multiple projects at the same time, be flexible in embracing uncertainty and agile to adapt to a fast-moving environment and be a good team player with strong collaboration and listening skills.
What You Will Do:
1. Plan and manage the content calendar and content execution for iRobot.xx to support both global marketing & local market requirements, executing the local promotional schedules.
2. Gather requirements from stakeholders and liaise with cross-functional content owners to establish content requirements and gather content-related assets.
3. Track projects and briefs developed by internal & external creative agencies.
4. Execute best-in-class content with a focus on the overall consumer experience.
5. Brief and facilitate website translation requirements for iRobot.xx sites for EMEA.
6. Author, UAT and publish web content and campaigns for iRobot.xx across the full customer purchasing journey.
7. Identify opportunities to optimize customer experience using data and insight. Regularly propose new content ideas, A/B tests, functionality enhancements to improve overall CX.
8. Support the wider EMEA Digital Marketing team on projects related to improving the full consumer journey.
9. SFRA super user / master for Sales Force Store Front Reference Architecture (SFRA).
10. Manage with excellence in operational execution, regularly monitor site for issues and general Search Engine Optimization (SEO) performance. Raising, tracking, and escalating issues as required.
To Be Successful You Will Have:
1. 5+ years of experience working in digital content management environment.
2. Previous experience with Customer Management System (CMS) required (Sitecore, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.)
3. Experience with salesforce SFRA desirable.
4. Exceptional communications skills with proven ability to influence and foster strong relationships across enterprise including IT, Marketing, Creative Teams and others.
5. Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills.
6. Multi-tasking, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
7. A test and learn mindset, and comfortable using data to drive decisions.
8. Eagerness to get involved in new projects and develop new skills.
9. Bachelor’s Degree required.
Location : London - hybrid role (2-3 days in office)
