Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Analytics & Insights team in the UK. As an Analyst, you will work with a variety of quantitative and qualitative datasets to identify trends, observations and insights that will be informative and inspiring to clients across a range of industries and sectors. Report Writing, Data Acquisition, and Analysis Prepare, edit, revise and present clear, accurate and concise insights and make data-driven recommendations that are: free from grammatical errors; in line with established standards and formats, and appropriate for the target audience. Create and deliver regular reports using data obtained through traditional, online, and social media analysis techniques. Provide valuable insights and recommendations based on media analysis to support client decision-making. Analyse and interrogate datasets of varying size and complexity and summarise key trends and observations in a concise and intuitive way. Work on content aggregation tasks to curate high quality datasets that will respond to research objectives 2. Communication, Collaboration and Professionalism Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and within project teams to ensure alignment, and efficient, accurate and timely delivery of analytics and insights services. Plan and monitor your time effectively, and support resourcing and project teams by bringing solutions, not problems, to the table. Aspire to communicate and consult with clients, building relationships that maintain and promote engagement with our services. 3. Problem Solving & Quality Assurance Conduct quality checks on data, reports, and processes before delivery to clients, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Continuously assess analytical solutions and associated processes to ensure client satisfaction and efficiency. Aspire to design analytics solutions that respond to client briefs and align with client objectives from initial setup through to regular reporting through to ad-hoc requests. 4. Personal Development & Growth Further your understanding of how to use industry leading media analysis tools and expand your expertise in digital data exploration software. Skills: Required: Experience: Skilled in writing, and reviewing, clear and concise reports, with excellent spelling and grammar First-rate verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively and accurately Proficient in data visualisation Good presentation skills Technical skills: Proficient knowledge of MS suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams Experience with media research & listening tools (such as Talkwalker, Meltwater, Fanpage Karma, Buzz Sumo, Signal AI, Factiva etc.) Strong attention to detail Focused on data integrity Work Culture: An interest and curiosity for research and innovation A strong team player who can lead where required Organised and able to effectively manage time to meet competing deadlines Desired: Experience in a relevant field, such as: Writing for online communications or a publication, Using media data to respond to research questions, Working with a database platform (e.g. NocoDB) and/or a coding platform Other: Good knowledge of Boolean logic Experience with Microsoft Power BI and/or other data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker/Looker Studio Interest in, and understanding of, sectors such as: heavy industry; transportation; finance, and fast-moving consumer goods Second language (major European, Mandarin, Arabic, etc.) Experience with BigQuery Our offer: Exposure to exciting and challenging projects for national and international clients.
