Community Learning Lead Band 6, 37.5 hours S upporting Stratford, Shipston and Alcester PBTs South Warwickshire South PLACE, Place Based Nursing teams are excited to offer a new and exciting role to an experienced nurse who holds an interest in supporting learners in practice within the community setting to grow a highly competent, supported, and caring workforce for the future. You must be a professional role model demonstrating excellent leadership and coaching skills who has taught, mentored, and assessed learners in practice. The role will involve assessment, supervision, and feedback on a one to one clinical basis and your contribution in partnership with their line manager will support new and existing community nursing staff with meeting their training requirements and professional development objectives. Your role will have the responsibility for ensuring the area is a positive learning environment that delivers successful learning outcomes. You will contribute to future workforce planning and the pathway development of community services and embed a positive just culture and learning environment. The role will also require you to support the teams clinically with 20% face to face patient contact. The Community Learning Lead (CLL) will identify and support training needs, plan, implement and evaluate education activities for trainees, new starters and existing practitioners within Out of Hospital Care Collaborative. The post holder will demonstrate specialist knowledge and skills commensurate with a clinical expert and effective leader; serve as a role model; an agent of change and a facilitator of work-based learning. Explicit within the role and the outcomes required of it, the CLL will work collegiately to ensure standards are established, implemented and sustained, particularly those related to staff knowledge, skills development and patient safety by participating in audits. The CLL will work 80% of their time clinically working with trainees, new starters and existing staff and 20% supporting Lead Practitioner in identifying training and education needs and planning, implementing and evaluating education activities in their clinical area of practice.
