Join our expert team at Crawfords Group as an Experienced Agricultural Technician, where you’ll play a crucial role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing cutting-edge farm machinery.
You’ll handle everything from routine maintenance and diagnostics to pre-delivery inspections, working both on-site and at our depot. This role offers the chance to work with a variety of equipment, including tractors, combines, sprayers, and balers, while promoting our dealership services and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
Responsibilities
1. Carry out scheduled service maintenance and repairs on-site and at the depot.
2. Carry out fault-finding and diagnosis on all types of farm machinery.
3. Complete pre-delivery inspections.
4. Promote dealership services to customers.
5. Attend manufacturers’ training courses.
6. Complete job stories and hours using iPhone.
7. Utilise laptop diagnostics and service systems.
8. Work alongside and communicate with customers, colleagues, manufacturers, and suppliers.
Experience and attributes
1. Proven experience working in a similar role.
2. Experience working on Agricultural Machinery and Equipment – Tractors, Combines, Sprayers and Balers etc.
3. Experience working on AGCO Products would be advantageous but not essential.
4. Excellent communication and IT skills.
