Hays are delighted to be working with one of our partner schools in the Gloucester area in their search for a History teacher to work with them, ideally on a full-time basis from September to cover a teacher due to begin her maternity leave. The Role:
1. Teach History: Deliver engaging lessons that cover various historical periods, events, and civilisations.
2. Inspire Inquiry: Encourage students to ask questions, analyse primary sources, and think critically.
3. Promote Contextual Understanding: Help students connect historical events to contemporary issues.
4. Create a Dynamic Classroom: Use multimedia, discussions, and projects to make historye alive.
5. Support Student Growth: Provide constructive feedback and guide students toward academic excellence.
Requirements:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
7. Passion for History: A genuine love for the subject and a desire to ignite curiosity.
8. Strongmunication Skills: Clearmunication with students, parents, and colleagues.
9. Adaptability: Ability to tailor lessons to diverse learning styles and abilities.
