Building Surveyor

Job Purpose: Primarily acting as an Expert Witness for Housing Condition Claims
Main Responsibilities
• Carrying out inspections and producing reports in accordance with instructions received.
• Liaising with administrative colleagues to organise appointments and preparation of the reports
• Responding to Part 35 Questions as required
• Responding to information requests from instructing solicitors
• Other Building Surveying tasks as required
Skills and Qualifications
• RICS accredited Building Surveying degree
• Ideally MRICS, MCIOB or FRICS but not essential if suitably experienced and AssocRICS
• Expertise in Building Pathology
• Experienced in Housing Condition Claims but training can be provided to candidates with suitable residential building pathology experience
• IT proficient, comfortable using mobile devices such as tablets
