We have an excellent opportunity for a resilient and experienced multi-site Registered Manager to join our Supported Living Services across the Manchester area.
1. Pay Rate: £42000 per annum
2. Contractual hours – 42Hrs per week (Full Time)
Duties Include
3. To support and lead the services to deliver the operational plan, growth, and financial targets.
4. Ensure all services comply with CQC requirements and in line with the organisation’s vision and values.
5. Regular review of operational practices to identify areas for development and improvement.
6. Encourage and strive for positive relationships with commissioners, families, and other stakeholders and seek innovative ways to achieve this.
7. To provide reports as required by the senior management team.
8. Adapt and respond appropriately as the business grows.
9. Set and communicate targets. Motivate/inspire the team to meet those targets, all with a view to ensuring continual improvement amongst the team.
10. Carry out monthly appraisals, identifying training and development needs.
11. Work closely with the referrals team to achieve high levels of occupancy and service update.
12. Develop and implement quality management and continuous improvement systems.
13. Deliver ad hoc projects within agreed specifications and support the implementation and development of these projects.
Person Specifications
14. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social care services or equivalent qualification.
15. Proven experience of working with people with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health problems.
16. Demonstrable success in building an effective team with an ability to motivate staff to succeed.
17. Previous experience as a Registered Manager is essential.
18. Able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills.
19. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a manner that is clear and concise, fluent, and persuasive.
20. Proven ability to achieve targets, objectives, and deadlines.
21. Excellent organisational and time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
22. Working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, DOLS, Safeguarding and other relevant legislation.
23. Remain calm under pressure and manage competing priorities.
24. Ability to share the iBC vision and engender ownership in others.
25. Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.
