Description
The role of the Assistant Management Accountant includes:
* Responsible for the production of month-end close process
* Accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis
* Assisting with budget preparation and end-of-year statutory accounts
* Assisting with end-of-year audits
* Preparation of journals and reporting
* Assisting with property fixed assets and capital accounting
* Working closely with the Finance Manager for budget controls
Profile
To be successful as Assistant Management Accountant, you will have:
* Experience in the production of budget setting and supporting managers
* A thorough understanding of sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations, and double-entry bookkeeping
* Exposure to fixed assets and capital accounting would be desirable
* Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
