Compliance Specialist
Location: Huntingdon (on site only)

Their technical teams have worked on materials that have contributed to scientific breakthroughs in nuclear fusion, the fight against COVID-19, and have been used in probes that have travelled through space as far as Saturn.

The Role
You will provide timely and accurate regulatory and industry advice to the business, regular risk reporting and compliance monitoring over key controls and risks to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery of monthly and quarterly compliance reports to the business.
2. Update & manage REACH/RoHS/Conflict Mineral & any other relevant product compliance data to maximise the data available in the system and ensure clear internal & external communication of this data.
3. Monitor, investigate and report on any product compliance & regulatory requirements which could impact on the activities of the business. Devise a plan to overcome any obstacles which may arise as a result of these requirements.
4. Communicate changes in product compliance policies & procedures throughout the business.
5. Manage & lead internal audits. Support external audits.
6. Be actively involved in internal training experience given to other departments across multiple jurisdictions.
7. Document all trade & Customs procedures to allow integration of these procedures into the Quality system.
8. Support the Compliance Manager with the collation of accurate information to meet regulatory reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
9. Implement reporting and other compliance obligations.
Key Requirements
1. Act as lead in compliance monitoring including customer journey reviews, monitoring and key risk/control reviews.
2. Ensure that workloads of the department/team are prioritised to meet deadlines set by the business.
3. Remain motivated to perform well and encourage others in the team to do the same.
4. Take ownership of tasks and issues that arise and either address these or delegate onto suitable colleagues.
5. Achieve the department's targets and goals.
6. Determine and report on departmental KPIs.
