Role Overview:
As the Accounts Administrator, you will ensure all responsibilities and duties are processed in a timely manner, using your initiative to effectively meet accounting deadlines while communicating with the Finance Manager. You will also support the Sales team and Production Administration.

The Accounts Administration role is ideal for someone interested in supporting a successful family-owned business and is located in or around Newmarket or Bury St Edmunds. A driver is essential due to the location.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Accurately maintain and update financial records, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments, and managing accounts payable/receivable.
2. Efficiently use Excel to manage business operations, including payroll and accounting.
3. Act as a point of contact for finance-related queries from both internal teams and external partners, fostering strong relationships with vendors, clients, and service providers.
4. Manage credit control ensuring debtors are handled in accordance with company financial procedures.
Required Skills:
1. Strong communication and client relationship skills.
2. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (SAGE desirable).
3. Experience within an Administrator role.
4. Previous knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience:
+2 Years within a Finance or Accounts Administration role. Experience within the Machinery industry is desirable but not a requirement.
Salary & Benefits:
£27,000 per annum.
