The Role
As a Sub-Contract Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will liaise with and manage subcontractors to ensure key deliverables are met on the Type 31 Project.
Day-to-day, you'll manage subcontractors to ensure they meet cost, schedule and quality criteria.
* Lead subcontractor issue reporting, management, communication and resolution
* Continuous appraisal of subcontract policies, processes and procedures
* Preparation of buy plans for inclusion in company tenders
* Negotiating and award of contracts that ensure optimum value to the company
* Ensure that all subcontractors carry out necessary risk assessments
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and is based on site at Rosyth with some hybrid working options.
Experience required of the Sub-Contract Manager
* Experience of managing subcontractors
* Planning and scheduling skills
* Understanding of working in a programmed environment
* Strong communications skills
Qualifications for the Sub-Contract Manager
* Ideally degree qualified in relevant subject
