The role is based in Bedfordshire and is offered on an annual contract basis.
The successful Instrument Cluster Engineer will be working within the Research and Development team responsible for the Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays and Displays development.
Responsibilities of the Instrument Cluster Engineer include: • Development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays and Displays • Prepare functional specifications • Review and approve part drawings • Resolve technical issues with test departments and suppliers • Conduct vehicle life cycle cost reduction idea generation and implement • Lead vehicle life cycle warranty investigations • Prepare and present development status and strategy plans to Senior Management • Maintain part BOM Background required for the Instrument Cluster Engineer position: • Ideally Degree educated in a relevant subject matter • Experienced in the development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays or Displays within the automotive industry • Familiar with electrical theory related to parts and connected circuits • An understanding in software development and validation method • Experience of electrical architecture • Knowledge of LIN or CAN tools PLEASE NOTE To meet with current legislation, right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates can work in the UK.
