My Wednesbury based client is looking for Sales Support to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.
Duties:
1. Sales order processing & providing quotations using CNC routing service and V-Carve software package (training can be given).
2. Develop a working knowledge of our LED lighting products and software package sufficient to quote & process sales orders.
3. Develop a working knowledge of products and services sufficient to work as the first point of contact on Trade Counter.
4. Proactively seek out new opportunities both for new business and existing customers as well as following up sales leads.
5. Account management within assigned territory to achieve target sales and profit levels.
6. Offering first-class customer service so they are the first choice when placing orders.
7. Provide administrative support to the Sales Team Leader and Sales Team, updating the CRM system in relation to updates, outcomes, and progress as well as keeping customer data up to date.
8. Develop awareness of competitive activity and report changes in the marketplace.
9. Maintain a daybook and other procedures in accordance with the Company's Standard Practice Instructions (SPI's).
10. Work collaboratively with all other departments.
Key Skills:
1. Ideally have worked within Sales Administration / Account Management previously.
2. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment and work under pressure.
3. Ability to take on responsibility and develop as a capable and dependable member of a successful team.
4. Confident with numbers and able to work with commercial data and pricing details.
5. Good IT Skills - MS Office.
6. If you have worked with V-Carve CNC software or Microsoft Dynamics AX, this would be advantageous although training will be provided.
