Role: Bid Manager
Description:
The role involves leading bids from receipt, to submission, at both Selection Questionnaire
(SQ) / Pre-qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) and tender stage (including managing pre-
construction services on 2 stage schemes). This includes planning and managing tender
activities, organising and chairing risk workshops and review meetings together with ensuring
governance procedures are complied with and all bids are both complete and submitted on
time. The writing of both pass / fail and qualitative responses for SQ, PQQ and tenders is an
integral part of the role. This will include liaison with other offices, to optimise submissions for
all.
Preparation of submission documents and interview presentations is an essential part of the
role, with the need to participate in and, if required, lead interviews.

Responsible for: Estimators, Planner, Design Manager, Pre-construction Administrator
Locations: Office based, with visits to clients, consultants, supply chain and sites as required
Qualifications: To degree level, in construction or a related discipline e.g. architecture
