As the Buyer you will be responsible for providing support to the wider Supply Chain team, helping achievie core business objectives and delivering top quality supply chain management. In your new Buyer role, duties will include: Manage supplier performance while maintaining strong working relationships with external supplier and internal cross functional teams. Ensure that inventory is maintained at the approved/required level and make cost-effective purchases. Update and maintain procurement data and record accurately in the ERP system pertaining to suppliers, prices, and lead times. Regularly update internal stakeholders with timely accurate status on orders and delivery status, supplier delivery plan, and supplier performance. Manage Return to Vendor parts ensuring these are sent back to suppliers in good time and credits are received. Accountable for the delivery of appointed projects or initiatives.
